Fly on the Wall

Do you wonder if your child's IEP is being effectively implemented? Does your child have difficulty telling you about school experiences? Do you wonder how your child manages through the school day? Is your child in the least restrictive placement with appropriate supports, access to the general curriculum, and opportunities to interact meaningfully with non-disabled peers?

Most schools have an open door policy allowing parents access to visit and observe their children any time. But students don't show their real colors when a parent is present. Have you ever wished you could send a mouse in your child's pocket or be a fly on the wall?

Consider your ExtraOrdinary wish granted! As a certified teacher and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), I can observe on your behalf. I have the knowledge and experience to unobtrusively observe and give an objective report.

After sharing "Just the Facts, Ma'am", we can discuss your response to my observations. If requested, I can share my opinions, thoughts, and suggestions (including referrals to other resources) to improve your child's school experience.

Need a wish granted? Need a fly on the wall? Click here to learn more, or contact us to request an observation. No bug spray or fly-swatters allowed!
